Newly re-designed in 2026, the No.822 Portfolio is a compact and highly functional design. Conveniently built and designed for the standard A5 ISO paper size, the No.822 will include two starter notepads that slide into the leather internal panels. A center leather loop will hold most standard pens and pencils and a leather loop closure will secure the portfolio.
The No.822 Portfolio is made with a solid-brass Italian made front ring and a double-layered strap that slides through to secure the case.

Made from genuine Horween® Shell Cordovan, the No.822 is a truly unique and special case. Shell Cordovan (Horse Hindquarter or Rump)is one of the most sought after and expensive leathers in the world, for a reason. The glass-like shine and extreme durability is ideal for small leather-goods, cases, folios & wallets. It's 100% vegetable tanned and for the most part "self-polishing" as you hold and use the leather. There is really no other comparable leather in the world. Artisanal tanned in Chicago for a century, genuine Horween® Shell Cordovan is in a class of it's own.

We cut the front and back face, strap and application piece from Shell Cordovan and the entire inside from Horween® horsehide strips, the section that lays just above the "shells" on the horsehide. The edges are all hand-stained, polished and waxed after construction for a clean and refined look.

Founded in 1981 and still based in San Diego, Coronado Leather is an American brand focused on making premium leathergoods that are built for life. This product was made by us, a small team of less than twenty proud designers, creators and artisans of leather goods in San Diego, California.
This is our second home and our passion. A shop of talented men and women building American made products the way they used to be made. Our products are crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced. We select the finest leathers, mostly from the US with some select leathers from Italy and Germany. We use solid-brass hardware from Italy and the US, premium Ykk USA zippers and other custom hardware.
The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads. we hand stain and polish raw edges and hand-set the majority of our rivets.
